It all began with three friends and a region few people knew.

In the beginning there was just one conviction: PETAR deserved a place worthy of its grandeur. Three friends in love with the region set out to build more than an inn. They built a meeting point for people, in one of the best-preserved stretches of Atlantic Forest in Brazil.

The project grew brick by brick, experience by experience. More than 30 years later, Pousada das Cavernas still welcomes guests with the same dedication as on day one. More than lodging, we aim to create experiences marked by care, respect for nature and the pleasure of welcoming every guest as part of our story.
